SRT8 with 6sp wouldve been better  but Im sure its still fun to drive.

Challenger has been by far the nicest looking of the retros imo.

Cause its only pushing 374 to the crank and wieghs the better part of 4000lbs. With wide tires it wouldnt be able to spin them. :)

DISCLOSURE: That was a joke. I like the car. Just a little ribbing.

Launch controle:ror:

X2 on the ribbing, nice ride

I didnt like the challengers much when they came out, but I have seen 2 in resent weeks with a kick ass hood scoop, and now they are begining to grow on me.

Thanks guys! I know the guys ribbing me are driving some 4 banger commuter car with a loud rice burning muffler attached :flipoff: :lmao:

Here are some more pictures driving down the coast

Ditch the chrome for black. While yer at it...ditch the Dodge for a Bowtie.

Actually a cool car. I saw one similar at SEMA last year & they do look "muscluar."

I guy I work with at the Post Office picked up a Challenger SRT8 not too long ago.

His has the manual and the 392 Hemi in it, wide tires too. It's pretty slick."thumbsup"

I'll try n get some pics of it before he puts it away for the winter.

You are aware that truck came with about 20% less horsepower from the factory than that little 5.7L? :flipoff:

I never put alot of stock horse power or torque ratings, unless they are a true side by side with matching rpm #'s througout the rpm range.

But I'd bet the torque of the 8.0, no matter the #'s, is enough to drag a sports car down the road.

Grumpster, Jealousy and hate sum up what I feel right now about this. It is almost exactly the one I built online, of course I couldn't afford right now if I wanted too, but still fun to dream.

Congratulations on that beauty man. I love me some Mopar and this is one of the nicest new style Challengers I;ve seen!

but i will never understand why people buy these kinds of vehicles with an automatic transmission

Here in America, manuals don't sell as well because too hard to drive and launch. It's a shame to me the slow death of manuals.

Mopar or no car buddy! I am a huge older Mopar fan, not so excited how quickly these Challengers got heavy, but all is well looks good and still a fun toy. Enjoy it, just watch out for us 4-bangers in commuter cars, some of us are in sleeper mode "thumbsup"

I know the guys ribbing me are driving some 4 banger commuter car with a loud rice burning muffler attached :flipoff: :lmao:

Ouch, thats what I drive ;-)

Thanks to this little guy, I make more power and tq though:
