Due to some changes beyond my control the event this year will be a flat fee. So my personal suggestion would be to drive as many classes as you can to get the most bang for your buck. We will have EPARCC modified SORRCA Class2 rules, COMP Crawling 1.9 MINI, 2.2S, 2.2Pro and SUPER. I have had to work with a bunch of new issues this year. To be honest the event almost did not happen. I will post the final fee in the coming weeks. The flat fee will cover lunch Saturday, event swag( to be determined), membership to Rausch Creek to cover their insurance requirements, pavilion rental, charity donation and class fee. I hope to continue the growth we have had for the NENC. This is the 5th year of the event and we have grown from a solid core group of 28 when we started to almost double that last year.

See you on the rocks.

I'll post up a link up later with the tech in sheet and score sheet and rules, we use a simplified version of the current rules. For the most part it is the 2014-15 rules.

Tickets will go on sale in June. I am currently building the registration site for the event. As I mentioned before there have been some changes beyond my control and this year there will be a flat fee for the event that will cover the food, park fees, pavilion rental, shirts and a charity donation. The charity will be announced soon.

When will you know the amount of the flat fee for the event?

The cost will be comparative to the all access pass last year. The total will not be more than $85. I did my best to keep the cost reasonable without removing things like food, event shirt and our continued desire to support a worthwhile charity. That is why I am strongly suggesting that drivers run more than one class. I would like to run all 5 but I have never been able to with running and overseeing the event.

I was sitting down and crunching numbers, I hate crunching numbers and thinking about finances of an event. It is the most stressful thing for me. To break even so the club and I don't have to pay out of pocket to host the event we need to have 35 registered drivers. I don't think that this is unreasonable number of drivers. We have steadily grown over the years and have had a blast doing it. I could cut corners like no shirt, no food and no charity support but those things are part of what makes the NENC special. I am so proud of what we have all built here over the past 5 years.

See you on the rocks

Working on the ticket sales through Eventzilla. Tickets will be available in the beginning of June. I will begin to publicize the sponsors in the coming weeks. I am still waiting on several responses. We picked up two sponsors today, one returning and one new. I am so grateful to all the sponsors that continue to support this awesome event.
