2s v 3s. ESC. New be gentle

If I upgrade to some version of a Tekin brushless Motor Esc combo (I'm thinking 21.5). can I still run the stock 2S batteries for my kids so they have less speed?

sure. depending on your radio, you could also program the throttle curves to have less punch or use the tekin pc interface to tame the throttle.

The stock battery is fairly small I run the same size in my 1/18 scales. With a 21.5 you should be safe I would keep my eye on temps and watch for puffing though.

Thanks, I run a futaba 4pl so I should be able to adjust for the kids....

I'll definitely watch the battery though
