30" Deep Drawers

My Corner desk is 30" deep on one of the legs. I really want to expand my storage space and would like some 30" deep drawers (or maybe some cheap shelving)

Does anyone know where I can find such a crazy thing to ask for? I've been to afew places, and everyone looks at me like a f!@#$%^g idiot wanting something besides a 18" depth drawer.

I know Hafele makes concealed undermount slides up to at least 28". That's the longest I've ever used or even seen, but I'm sure something longer exists out there. Time to hit up some specialty places.

I'm not really looking for something custom/expensive....worst case, I'll go buy some lumber and make some shelves.

But I was really hoping I could just find a commonplace item that will work. Preferable drawers but I can make shelves work.

I'd be ok with 24", I thought that'd be really common place. But I couldn't find anything in that size range that didn't cost an arm and a leg

Common cabinet depth is 21" or 24" and sometimes 18", at least at locations where you'd find drawers. Even in the 24" cabinets the drawers are usually about 22" or so, to get anything larger than that is going to be custom to some extent.

Yea, I've been looking for some 24" deep drawer cabinets on craigslist.

I'm looking for an entire assembly like a dresser if I didn't make it clear enough. I have about 4 feet of empty wall next to my desk that accumlates massive piles of junk. I want to organize it :ror:

Too bad you don't live close to me. My neighbor rescued these from a dumpster during an office remodel he was involved in. He has 5 more sets in his garage. 32 inch deep full extension drawers. Said I can have all of them if I want, but I don't have room for more than 3 sets.

I just scored on craigslist. It's a shame the guy only had one set. It would be amazing if I can find a matching set to fill my wall.

It's 32" tall (or 30" without its base), 30" deep, and 20" wide. Has ten drawers with a built in divider. It was originally used for storing computer program cards.


I paid $80 for it and something similiar brand new would probably be in the thousands :shock:

And for the hell of it. Here's the rest of my setup for overkillrc and school work. Every drawer/bin you see except the new gray drawers is packed full of stuff. And I have two totes worth of junk I can unpack into the grey drawers.

Universities have used equipment and furniture auctions regularly and I have seen sevral of the cabinet you have at them I've got 2 of them or very close to them for 50 each. Hit them up you will be surprised at what they have.
