Hi!

Yeah, I´m building my personal 16-wheeler... :lmao:
Some might know my E-Maxx 8x8. For some time now I´m building a matching trailer:

This thing will be HUGE! At this building stage the trailer is already 116cm (45,7 inches) long...

Tobi continued...

I like the trailer but would really like some info on the saw you used. Never expected a blade like that to cut through aluminum and leave such a nice finish.

That´s why I use it... ;)
The saw is normally thought for cutting wood, but the blade contains 64 teeth of hardened steel so it can also cut aluminum - and it goes like a hot knife through butter (at 4500 rpm)... "thumbsup"

But use a vacuum cleaner while cutting - otherwise the "debris" will fly yards...

But the main advantage is the lack of heat. After cutting you can instantly touch the metal... 8) "thumbsup"

PS: The closeup views are as they "come out" - no grinding or cleaning were done for the pictures... ;)

Nice. I've been thinking of getting a compound miter saw and swapping in an asphalt type cutoff wheel. But seeing how well your blade works, think I'll look into that instead.

Hi!

Did some work today: 8)

Weight without wheels is now 3580g (7,9 lb) and it´s HUGE! Front to back it´s now 181cm (71,26 inches) long...
It´s defenitly got the turning radius of a truck...
