Hi,

Anyway, interesting, 50 bucks for 7-ch, rx, gyro, crawler mode, display:

Kinda gimmicky, but i'll admit the flashlight feature COULD be useful in some situations...

Looks like a GT5 wannabe LOL

Not really. This looks as much like a GT5 as it does a Kyosho Syncro.

Don't we all carry smart phones with flashlights these days?

I think it's an odd feature to have in a radio. Not a bad feature, but odd and, as you say, gimmicky. But if it's an LED so it should last a long time.

This radio does have some nice features, but I've never heard of this brand before. Price, once it hits the states, and reliability will be key.

Oh and Dumbo RC? :lmao:

Well I'm in the market for a new radio system. Don't need 7 channels but think it's worth the gamble?

Honestly, this looks like it could work for me. I have a mt4 for comping but for my scaler fleet this could do the job.

Like jato said we need to see if a retailer picks this up.. If this is the price once a retailer starts to sell I'll give it a try. It is cheaper than receivers for my mt4 and I'm running out of model memory!

Mine showed up today and I will say I think the features will definitely be worth the $50. The tx feels cheap but no less than my flysky gt3c which has survived a long time.

It looks like it is set up to run a Lipo pack if you want and it does have the plugs to check Lipo charge on the bottom of the tx.

I installed a servo on each of the 7 channels to see how they are set up.

1 - steering
2 - throttle (funny thing is the top of the tx lights up when you move the throttle)
3 - momentary switch (moves when you hold the button in then returns to original position when you release)
4 - 3 position switch
5 & 6 - linear dials
7 - 2 position switch

Now for a couple videos and pics.

Ok. The ch3 momentary switch is used to control the steering mix for 4ws if you have it in crawler mode. Works like a charm. I have multiple rigs that can use this feature. Much easier than doing this via a trim button on my mt4 and not knowing which mode I'm in.

A short video to show it in action:
