-Pairing Drivers- After signing up, drivers will be randomly drawn for running order and paired together for the event. Driver #1 of the pair will run in heat #1, while driver #2 is the Spotter. Drivers will switch rolls for heat #2, driver #2 will run while driver #1 spots.
-Starting- All vehicles must be ready and staged by the start of the race. Drivers will start 30 seconds apart or after the previous driver has reached a predetermined gate.
-Time- Time starts when the vehicle crosses the starting line. Time stops when the vehicle crosses the finish line. Once time starts time can not be stopped for any reason.
-Passing- Slower rigs should (but are not required to) yield to the passing vehicle.
-Scale Accessories- All vehicle accessories must be scale in nature. Any scale item carried by the vehicle may be used during the race without penalty, such as a winch, strap, sand ladders, ramps, etc.

-Repairs- Any vehicle in need of repair must remain on course. All vehicles must be repaired on course. If a driver removes his vehicle from the course at any time his run ends. The drivers finishing position will be based on last progressed gate.
-Penalties- All penalties will be added after the driver finishes the course.
-Teams- A Teams scores will be a combination of the average time and the average gate progress of all drivers in the team.

Penalties:
-Cone/Boundary- If a driver at any time hits a cone/boundary a 1min penalty will be added to the drivers overall time
-Assist- If a driver at any time has to be assisted by his course "Spotter" a 2min penalty will be added to the drivers overall time

All vehicles must have at least 1 recovery device, strap, winch, etc.
All vehicles must carry a minimum of 3 additional scale items, excluding the mandatory recovery device.

Terms/Procedures:
-Cone- Cones are used to define the race course. Cones are setup in pairs with matching numbers making a "Gate"
-Gate- The area of the course between cones of the same number
-Spotter- The person assigned to time and assess penalties for the driver. The Spotter will also assist the driver during an "Assist"
-Assist- If a drivers vehicle can not be righted during a rollover the "Spotter" may roll the vehicle back onto it's wheels using the spotter strap. A Spotter may also winch the vehicle up/through sections of the course that may be too difficult for the vehicle. You CAN NOT pass any vehicles during an "Assist" and you CAN NOT take an "Assist" on a line you have not tried to drive first. The Spotter can only move the vehicle by using a "strap". Any and every time the Spotter has to "assist" the vehicle a 2 min penalty will be added to the drivers overall time
-Bonus:- If a driver helps another rig on course with their recovery device the driver will be awarded a bonus of -1 min off their time at the end of their run
-Team- Multiple drivers running under one name.

These events are new and the rules may be tweaked as issues arise, so check back often.

Ohhhh..this is tempting. I've been bitten hard by the ultra 4 bug and Three Peaks is one of my favorite places to crawl, despite the fact that it cost me an ftoy roof a few years back

Oh, this will make up for missing St George :flipoff:
You really did miss out on a great Ultra4 race in SG. Besides your family misses the two of ya.

This will be 801rcc's first comp at 3 Peaks so anything could happen and none of the drivers are familiar with the location so it should be very interesting.

I promise, if you come you'll have a blast.

Would love to see ya there Jake!

I forgot this was one of the venues for the 1:1 competition scene!

Got out for some testing yesterday, Wraith felt great.
I really want to finish my winch before the event but not sure if that will happen.
Looking forward to running at this new location, only a day and a half left.

I can't say enough about how awesome this weekend was. 3 Peaks has just bumped up to my #1 favorite spot to crawl or race. I love that we can camp right next to the best rock I've driven. It also meant the you didn't have to leave after the event and you could test and fun crawl all night if you wanted. I loved the over all feel the weekend had, very chill and relaxed yet the competition was very tight. This was by far the best Ultra4 course to date. I could go on and on about how awesome this place and event are/was. I'll finish by saying, if you didn't make it you really did miss out on the best comp/weekend I've had the pleasure of attending in a long long time (and I've been to a lot)

Thanks to everyone that made it out for the good times and the great memories.
