My 4yo has a New Bright Rubicon Crawler. Long ago, he started using better batteries than the flat 9.6v it came with.

I was digging through some crap today and found that flat battery... so just for grins and giggles I charged it up and adapted it from the tamia to my deans plug. I stuck it on my comp rig with the new 35T handwound and zippo...

All my saddle packs are 6cell 2/3A (7.whatever volts) so the little 9.6 battery is a kick in the pants! Lots of fun. Granted it's only 600mah, but I think it's got enough oomph to make it through a 10 gate course.

Does anyone know technically how many cells those are? I'd hate to burn up the rooster if it has more than 7 little cells.

1.2 volts per cell...To much voltage. You've been bit by the high voltage bug now.:-P Now your gonna have to upgrade ESC's

I'm running a 35t handwound geared 18/81 on a 3 cell (11.1 volts) Even on stock gearing,it's pretty quick."thumbsup"

It's fun.
