I picked the Rustler up from a buddy for 80usd that he bought from the local Goodwill. The electronics were cooked, so I swapped them out with a Hobbywing just sport brushless esc, an EcoPower Slingshot 17 motor, and an EcoPower WP110T Survo. The front tires were in ok shape but the rear Losi this were in rough shape, so I replaced them with a pair of ProLine Dirt Hogs a friend gave me and resprayed the rims because alot of the chrome was in bad shape. Next is to source a body, I'm not sure if I want to go with a 90s body or something modern.

Nice score! I recently did a total rebuild of a 90's Rustler with modern components and the thing rips, it's a total blast to drive around. They're still widely supported with so many option parts available. I went with the Proline Bronco body for the Stampede. Takes different body mounts, but it goes on with only a little effort.
