A Crawling track?

well i know this is slightly off topic but who knows maybe if i noob looks back on this it will help (like they actually do that)

for smaller crawlers an indoor track can be made out of high density styrofoam. I know it sounds stupid but i'm not talking about taking all the old styrofoam from old purchases and making a track out of it. This foam doesnt chip off like styrofoam. Basically what you do is cut it in the shape you want (you can actually make the thing, then cut it into pieces and store it in like a closet or something) and then cover it in elmers glue. Once the glue is staying in place (you know like slightly dry) cover the shape in that grass stuff they sell for making railroads and stuff. Makes a nice scale course. They also sell products for things like sand, pea gravel, and rocks.

But yeah back on subject for a larger course just decided what you want (do you want something strictly for crawling, or do you want it to look good? and then just open your eyes. Basically all your materials are around you.

I wonder how much it would cost to gunite stuff

I built a mini course in my back yard.

Granite chucks (15) about the size of a five gallon bucket. They are on top of small weed block fabric trimmed back under the rocks. Its hard to get on the first rock in some locations because the topsoil is too loose.

The next one I build will have a rock/gravel base over the landscape fabric. With the larger chuck floating on top.

As I get more rocks it will turn into a dry creek bed something along the lines on these pics..............just little more intense and rugged

Are you wheeling at marthas vineyard while she is locked up? Really nice.

That's a beautiful yard John! Looks like some of your aquariums, only without the water and fish. :)

Yeah; that's not us. As long as there is some tech in threads... They will stay. If it's started with the sole purpose of BSing; take it to chit chat ;)

The only thing that will get you banned is breaking our very few rules repeatedly. (Or just being a flat out idiot w/ no sense of humor  )
