Chaotic Crawlers
I wanna be Dave
After seeing the new axial ripsaw tires, I quickly decided I wanted to build a new rig around them.
First I was just going to mod my honcho to fit them, but quickly decided i like my fenders too much for that.
Then I decided I would just build a tube buggy.
At first I planned to build my own frame, but life is waaaay to busy for me to spend a bunch of time brazing in my shed.
So I settled on using the TCS eclipse chassis as a base.
If this is not scale enough, please feel free to move this thread to the correct section. "thumbsup"
I am going to attempt to make this rig as scale as possible!
This could be a bit of a task, but I'm up to it!
Build will consist of
Eclipse chassis
Axial axles
Axial beadlocks
Mthead bl rings
Axial trans
V11 35t motor(geared really high)
3s lipo
Axial ripsaw tires
Some scale accessories
Axial scx10 aluminum shocks
This build will be fairly low buck and nowhere nearly as cool as some of the builds I've seen on this forum lately.
But i am personally excited about this for some reason, so I wanted to share it with my fellow enthusiasts!
So far I've got a basic roller on my hands.
The bl rings I'm gonna start with until I buy some wheels
I would love to hear any suggestions you guys may have to help me make this look as scale as possible.
I'm just trying To make this rig look like the type of buggy you would see in alot of 1:1 competitions.
