Well like alot of guys. I'm looking for the best bang for the Buck. I don't play games on the Computer, but I do run PhotoShop CS2 and a Video Editing program or two. I've been searching the internet for a few days and this seems to be the best bang for the buck laptop.

3G Ram, Over 300G HDD and much more. As some pretty cool features. All for under $700. barely..:)

It only has a few Reviews, but all seemed good. I searched around for more reviews, but they were all geared towards gamers. Which also always try to talk you into a build your own desk top.

I can't afford and don't want to spend more then $700. I have a few others I might be getting used for over half that price, but they are under have the size and power..

Whatcha think? Do buy or no?

Thanks, I'm pretty much set on getting now. I just found out there was 98 more reviewes for it...:)

They are located on the south side of town. Off of Glenstone in the walmart shopping center down by hooters. Northside of the road and the west end of the walmart shopping center .I think near the post office.

At work we had many problems with a acer laptop, but I guess everyone has their lemons? Was sent back 3 times for the LCD going out on it, and once for a motherboard replacement. Personally I would only buy IBM laptops, as they are made the handle the abuse of daily business use.

I have had mine for about 6 months now. Sounds about like the one you described....

Acer Aspire 5920
Intel Core 2 Duo
3 GB DDR2
160 GB HDD

I love it so far but the "P" key does not always want to work. I should have taken it back when I bought it but I am getting use to it. Just have to press it a little harder. lol Besides that, I love it. "thumbsup"

It compares well to the typical home Laptops. Some will be perfect, some will face some issues. They do not use the best hardware and that makes them cheap.

You are paying for what you are getting...

That said a Business line Dell, Gateway, or IBM will not be comparable as those use much more controlled and often times better components. Though you will pay at times a good deal more.
