Affordable sensored brushless setup for Axial

Hey all, I'm considering a cheap sensored brushless setup for my SCX10 and RR10.

I cannot afford two Tekin 412/MMP configs (approximately $500 here in Aus per truck) and I honestly don't want to spend near another grand beefing up the trucks to make the super reliable (SSD diff housing and the rabbit hold of stuff they can consume to beef up properly).

Would a 60A EXRun Hobbywing ESC and a sensored brushless Hobbywing 2600-3000kv motor work?

I could get a combo like that for $200 and figure it'll have similar power to stock which to me is totally fine but have the top end wheel speed.

Basically I am totally happy with the stock Bomber and SCX10 power and crawling ability and simply want more speed between crawls.

I'd be running 3S.

I've been leaning towards a Tekin brushed setup on 3S (external BEC and stock ESC's) which is very affordable and will likely be reliable but I'm still not sure they'll be very fast (they'll end up like a small child running speed wise and I just want a bit more - say double the stock speeds which is currently pretty slow).

Hobbyking has a pair of 80a esc's ive been looking at for a budget setup for my wraith. Both can be flashed to hobbywing. One is just under $40 usd, other is just over $40. I would link them but at work on my phone atm.

X2, I'd look at Hobbyking and HobbyWING for cheaper sensored brushless.

Why don't you do 3S with HobbyWING 1080WP ESC and Traxxas 21 turn Titan (550 motor)? That setup will run really nice and not break the bank, no worries about cogging or messed up sensor cable. I ran that in my SCX10 and Wraith but with Tekin FXR, awesome combo, Hobbywing is great ESC too! :)
