A buddy of mine is looking to get into spread spectrum for his airplanes. He wants an inexpensive 6-channel radio that will fly his 60 size Extra 330 plane. He has all the servos already.
What would you recommend? I would say DX-6, but maybe that's not the best choice for a plane?

Thanks

Well, it was made for park flyers after all.

I've been using one for a short time for flying and think it works great. And it's cheap enough.

DX7 and be done with it.

I have the DX6, DX7, 2.4 6EX...the DX7 is the way to go.

The 6EX feels clunky compared to the DX7, the 7 is nicer to navigate, comes with digi servos as well.
