Any activity on the Big Island?

I'm up for a weekend or evening GTG on the Hilo side.

If there's enough interest I'd also like to organize a (regular?) GTG somewhere central. Maybe near the top of Saddle Road like Hairy Hill or Mauna Kea Rec Area. Any suggestions?

For anyone who might stumble upon this thread, here's what's happening on the east side of the Big Island, AFAIK...

when: second Sunday of each month, 10:00 AM to whenevers
where: King's Landing, just past the concrete wall
who: old Team 'A'ama guys and some newcomers
what: crawling, bashing, BSing, maybe an occasional BBQ

when: Saturdays 9:30 AM to about noon, if no rain
where: Waiakea Stream, behind the UHH baseball field
who: just me, so far
what: crawling, winching and cursing

Feel free to add more!

Cool Mike thanks for the info. Just stopping by to check on some stuffs. Rarely come on but gonna try show face on the forum more often. I will let the others about your Sat. runs too!

Sorry for the late reply. Hardly get on here anymore. We usually have GTG's every 2nd Sunday at Kingslanding In Keaukaha (Hilo side). If we do change it up I usually post up on either the hawaiirc Facebook page or the rcheaven one. I am totally not as active as I used to be but if you need anything hit me up.

I'm going to Kona this weekend and will bring at least one rig. We went out to the boat harbor last time, it was good for a couple hours of fun. PM me your phone if you want to try to gtg.
