I'm looking for a good crawlin' spot/locations near the lodi/stockton areas opened to the public i.e. parks/creeks/rivers that has the typical rocks Crawlers come to like. The place I usually go to is too far out (folsom lake). I would like to find a closer area.

Thanks

man, nobody...no rc crawlers in stockton/lodi....I must be the only one crawler in town. No wonder stockton don't have jack crap any hobby stores/shops or that one and only shop (goin' out of business/or already has) only carried race trucks/cars-nothing to do with crawlers-When I went there and ask for certain parts the owner there looks confused:? and says "what's a rock crawler?"

Moved to the Cali section, you might have better luck there! "thumbsup"

how about the park @ i-5 and hwy 12? also what about the rocks around the port?
it`s been 22yrs since i lived there so i`m sure it has all changed since then.

The last time I went to oak grove park next to I5 I don't remember seeing any good spots at all. It was just like a normal park with trees and flat ground with grass. The rocks over at the ports are just wayy too dirty with garbage and fishing line and the rock sizes+how the rocks are layed out doesn't make for really good crawling.

hey yeah oak grove park only had one area of rocks that i was able to find when i went fishing. if u wanna run come out thursday nights with us at kohls in manteca or look into team lerk i beleave one of the guys has some runs set up in his garage. and from what i was told that hobby shop went under because the owner tried to say he got robbed and was found 6 houses down form his house with a truck full of stuff. but thats just rumors i havent found ne proof of this. but the lodi store can pretty much order most parts if u catch them on a good day and they rnt butt heads. usually i go to modesto hobbys or i work right next to hobby town in tracy so i have them order most of my parts.

You guys could crawl on an indoor track.. At Capital City RC.. Located In Sacramento.. take 99 to 50 then exit Watt ave. .....

They have an indoor track.. I realize that it is still a drive but it is an idea..

The Manteca crew isn't too far from you as well. Contact Drumbeater for more info, they ahve some great Comps and GTG's. "thumbsup"

the kohls in manteca is by the ball park, right? I am out in lockeford and would like to find somewhere to crawl. A friend has some stuff at his shop but I dont like dropping by all the time at taking his time away from his work to BS.
