I just had a thought and would like to make a scale john deere tractor, any thoughts on this??

been considering it but cant find a body. well I should say I was going to go lawn tractor (lawn pulling tractor actually)

I have heard some of the pulling guys carve them out of balsa wood.

those are pretty awesome but id like to get a 4x4 farming with a bush hog thats got all the stuff like the real tractors have, like,
-real working drivelines accesable for working bush hog
-working exhaust
-servo setup for turning steering wheel
-locked diffs
-metal axle housings front and rear
something along those lines

JD dealerships actually had a r/c tractor about 2 years ago you can probably find one and start from that body

There's one of those R/C John Deere's at my Local tractor Supply store... i think it's like $150. :shock: It's made by Ertl, and I have no idea what scale it is, but I believe it's one of the big, center-pivot-style 4WD tractors.
