i was curious how many people on here ride sleds. post up some pics of your sled and any modifications/ aftermarket parts you put on.

heres mine and my dads
mine is the '02 viper 700, Bender racing triple pipes, can, V force reeds, bender jets, major clutch work(comes in at 4000,secondaries come in at like 7500-8000), 196 picks, traction bars.

and my dads 01 SRX 700, mostly stock, traction bars,V force Reeds, 196 picks.

my sled is a 02 pro x 440 chassis with a 2003 800ves and a 136 inch track with 2 inch paddles, fly bars, 3 inch bar risers, shortie seat, c&a skis, ice scratchers, gutted air box, low chrome windshield, flowrites on dash, wholeshot skidplate, custom flames on the hood, a slp can, and all kinds of other crap.

nice sled, does that have that retarded electronic reverse on it? the one where it almost stalls the engine and then it goes into reverse,i had that on my old pro x 2 600 and hated it every time i'd hit the reverse button the piece would stall. do you have the same problem or no

no, I dont have perc, but if it is working right, it will stall the motor till it almost stops, then fire it in the oposite direction, so the motor will be running backwards. the "stalling" you mention is how it is suposed to work.

by having the motor spin backwards, you get rid of all of the extra weight of the reverse gears, and whatnot.

thats cause poo copied doo and couldnt get it right. in the words of red forman "dumbasses"

and to that comment, fans suck, get over it.

ya i know what it was supposed to do, but everytime it would stall down and then never go into reverse it would just die, i only had it work right a few times. o well the viper is x44767 times faster anyway, and the 180 Hp from the viper is a plus too:lol:

yep, you have to have it so that the idle is turned up high enough that the clutch wont engage, and the reverse wont kill it.

180 horse Viper there is alot of internal work done to taht sled isn't there? The Viper was around 120-130 stock. Also Polaris actualy traded a pantent to Ski Doo for the electronic reverse setup.

I ride a lot whenever we get snow:roll:

I don't have any pictures and its dark out right now but, here's what we got.

1994 Yamaha Z-max 600
1990 Arctic Cat Jag 440
1980 Kawasaki intruder 440
1980 Kawasaki invader 440
1972 Arctic Cat Cheetah

They are all stock, except for plastic ski skins, but the engine on the Kawasaki Intruder was rebuilt and it seems to rip pretty good.

i used to have one of those. were supposed to be gettign two storms this week, one tonight and one thursday into friday, so hopefully ill get some pics on the snow

I have not really pulled the pin on a sled in a long time. My last machine was an 01 Polaris prox 600 with a fully blue printed chassis and motor. It ran pretty strong for a little 600"thumbsup"

I added a few pics of my sleds in the past along with my daughters champ class powered xc120. Actually it had more power then was allowed in the champ class. It would easily cruise 40 on hardpack and pull 35+ on grass with no wheels on the skis.
