anyone around Hampton Roads, VA?

I'm In Va Beach.
Just started building a F350 High-Lift, Ialso have a ten year old stadium truck can't crawl with it though it's only 2wd.

Lets go bashing some time.

Found out at work today one of my vendors is into rc's

Im in Virginia beach also. Fairly new to rccrawlers. Would be nice to get together so I can learn some things. I have a 1:6 nylint scorpion no mods yet and a 1:6 Newbright with locked diffs and some spring mods.;-)

Windsor here.

Come to NN to crawl when I have a chance.

Usually go to Hunginton Park and crawl next to the boat ramp.

Where else is there to crawl in the area?

There's a place up here in Newport News behind a strip mall.

The maps shows bushes, etc. But, they just finished cleaning it all up and put retaining rocks in there.

Here's a small sample of the terrain:

Hello
This is my first post here. I just became aware of the world of rc crawlin a couple of weeks ago and found this site earlier this week. I think the detail and workings of these trucks are amazing. I am thinking of getting into this but would like to see some of it firsthand. If any of you decide to go out I would like to tag along and see what it is all about if you wouldn't mind. The map posted above is just down the road from me. Like I said this is my first post but definately not my last.

I'll be down that way the first weekend in March. I'm teaching a class down there, so I don't know how much free time I'll have, but if any of you are getting together, I'll try to make it...

I have been using the retaining rocks at Bethel Park for crawling. There isn't much there, but it is only a couple blocks from my house.
