I am just getting started in rock climbing, like to hook up with others near by to go do some climbing. Have some great spots for rock climbing. Contact me and let me know.

If you're willing to do a little driving, we're pretty close down around Central City.

I think SVEN lives up around Lexington now....

Jack you might be posting in the wrong section. This group is into RC rock crawling. NOT climbing? Totally different things.:roll:

Where are you at? Lexington? If so, there's a great place out at Brannon Crossing, just between Nicholasville and Lexington:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=e...d=101232273238702111576.00048ecf238c5de5d4546

That map is the best I could do on an exact location, the map isn't updated for that area. Basically when you turn off Nicholasville road into Brannon Crossing, keep going straight until you go through a stop sign, I forget how many lights you pass before you get to that. Go straight through the stop sign, and the place is just a few hundred yards down on your right, walking distance from the road.

Also, there is a decent place out at Herrington Lake. It's at Camp Kennedy, right by the boat dock. Here's a map:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=e...73238702111576.000482068f615be4bb95a&t=h&z=19

Depending on how nice of a day it is, and how packed the lake/dock is will determine how close you can park.

I think a few of us (myself, bluejeep, and maybe marlboroman) may try to go crawling Saturday afternoon sometime. It will probably be at Brannon Crossing. Also, we're all heading up to the Tri-State comp at FOTO in Louisville on Sunday.

Sweet man thanks for the info. I'm staying in Lexington for my buddies wedding reception. What time does the comp start on Sunday? Maybe I can swing it.

Thanks,
Farmer

Next up on the TSC list is Dam of Destruction 2 on Aug. 29th. This will be a "Twisted Chances" event and we will run 1.9 and 2.2.

What is this Twisted Chances you ask?

Depending on drivers signed up, will determine how many numbers you pick from the hat. But you will at least pick 2 numbers from the hat. TSC will then run 2 or 3 courses (depending on time/drivers signed up) and you will have your score..

Now the kicker. The numbers you have, are the drivers number from the past Rojos event held in Colorado. You will get that drivers lowest score added to your scores for an overall total

So you may be in DAL and pick some great numbers and end up in first place..

So who is in and as always, entry is free

Signups/driver meeting at 9, comp starts at 10, eastern time. They have cancelled the 1.9 part of it in favor of running more 2.2 courses though.
