I asked over in the Newbie section but no replys so im gonna ask here since im building a wraith kit.

Is it ok to use some automotive grease since i used almost what was supplied just on the diffs and when i opened it some shot out.

I'm pretty sure the Trans will take grease (right?).

I can't goto a Lhs because there isn't one for 200+ Miles from me so i have to order everything i want. If its ok to use some automotive grease then please let me know what kind, I'm a chick and don't know much about grease.

Another Lucas Red and Tacky user. I packed my axles and trans when I built it. Any decent auto parts store should have it. If you can't locate it, you can use any automotive wheelbearing grease, preferable NLGI #2 rated.

And I plan on regularly taking out the setscrew on the bottom of the pumkin to add more. A needle fitting for a grease gun fits perfect.

Wish the trans came with a "fill plug" as well.

Green Grease is what I use, I used to use Lucas marine grease but can't find it locally anymore, Green Grease is basically the same. I like the marine grease as it does not easily wash away with water and pretty much all my trucks are submarines as much as possible.

crazyorigin, I don't know if you have a West Marine store in your area but here in Miami they still have the Lucas Marine grease, also the Penzoil Red marine grease works just as well. Also you could be able to order it online"thumbsup"
