Hi, I got MIPs designed for an AX10, because I was told they would fit my SCX10 Dingo.. They are the perfect length, but the rear driveshaft has a minor problem! The coupler of my driveshaft is rubbing on my spur gear :x, and I am wondering why; because many other people run AX10 driveshafts on an SCX10 Dingo without a problem. I'm greatful for any feedback, or what I did wrong.
Thanks! "thumbsup"

Honestly I think the issue is that the MIP's for the AX10 are to be used with the Honcho which has a 1" longer wheelbase. The MIP's designed for the SCX10 are the ones to be used with the Dingo. I believe your driveshaft angles might be whats making it rub. Take some pics and post them and maybe we can help more. Good luck

I have the same set up and looking at mine, It appears mine is touching the spur on occasion but its just the edge. Doesnt look like its going to hurt anything since the pinion doesnt go all the way to the edge of the spur.

That's the first time myself, that I've heard of it rubbing. I've seen em rub on a bigger spur but not with a 87t. Maybe drop your gearing a bit so the spur is alittle smaller

I wouldnt think it would be much $10-$15 bucks. Where's it hitting? If its just hitting the outside edge It shouldn't interfere with the gear/pinion mesh. You could always trying taking a dremel with a grinding bit to driveshaft and grinding down the hub a little bit may make it clear. But it may be nothing to worry bout the pinion doesnt go all the way to the edge of the spur when its turning.
