Evening everyone. Has anyone tried the Axial 2017 Wrangler JK body on their TRX4 Sport kit? The wheelbase should be ok. Axial's body code is AX31578.

I have a build thread on here using the Axial JK. It was a pain in the ass to get that body to work on the TRX chassis. Had to cut the rear rails and the inner fenders need to be cut down. The rock sliders are going to need spacers under them. That build really turned me off from the TRX4 platform. I have never ran the truck yet it’s been sitting for about 1 1/2 yrs. That is how disgusted I was over it. Even sold me TRX4 XJ (Axial body) to Kincer.

So an Axial brand body not being a "drop-in" fit to a Traxxas TRX-4 turned you off on what is arguably one of the best 1.9 crawler platforms available? Ok.

Never said it was a bad platform. I have recommended the platform to several people along with the VS4 Pro if funds are available for the VS4. I was just saying that the TRX4 is going to take some work to make it fit.
