Hi.I have some RadioShack LEDs with red, orange housings.I also have the AXIAL NVS.Well I want to connect the RadioShack LEDs to the NVS.The thing is the RadioShack LEDs have inbuilt resistors inside the housing. Can I connect these to the NVS which I guess has the resistors already in it unlike the RadioShack LEDs the resistors are packed into the LED housing ,along the LED.
The RadioShack LEDs are :

So I don't want to use some of the original NVS LEDs ( without the resistors but I guess it's inside the NVS box ) but use the RadioShack LEDs with the resistors. Now if I do connect the way I want to wont it become 2 resistors for one Led?Pls help.I really want to use the RadioShack LEDs for the housing but want to use the NVS too. I can remove the RadioShack LEDs from the housing but that would mean That I have to cut a sealed housing which I don't want to simply because its very neat and waterproofed I guess.

What is the work around?Or the only thing is to gut the Radioshak housing and insert the original NVS led into it?

Those radio shack LEDs are 12volt and will not operate on the NVS system. As mentioned, may try removing the lamp from the housing and inserting the axial lamp.
