Axial RECON Ultra 4 G6 at King of the Hammers

Read the Official Flier here; Axial Racing - Axial – The Official RC Vehicles of Ultra4 Racing – King of the Hammers

Choooo-Chooooo!!! The G-Train is FIRED UP and we are headed to the biggest off-road race in the country, if not the World! The 2013 King of the Hammers is our next stop...

ALLLLLLLL ABOARD!

Axial Racing & RECON Crawlers has brought r/c enthusiasts Big Events since 2007. The Axial West Coast Championships started the r/c crawling “Big Events” and was the first to ever have qualifying rounds and LCQ’s. Axial Racing and RECON Crawlers teamed up again to bring r/c enthusiasts and their families an r/c genre that has swept the World, known as the RECON G6. The RECON G6 is more than an event, it’s a Life Style. The King of the Hammers (KOH) and Ultra4 racing is also a life style and they are going to be getting their R/C scaler fix, in The Axial RECON G6. This is the last event on the 2013 KOH schedule starting at noon on Saturday, if you own an Axial R/C, come out and get your fix in this historic Axial RECON Ultra4 G6.

I can't think of any better way to start the year than a watching the best Ultra 4 racers battling it out for one of the most coveted crowns in all of racing, the King of the Hammers. Are you going to be the first Axial RECON Ultra 4 G6 King of the Hammers? You can answer that in person. The G-Crew will see you soon and remember...

...Come get your scaler fix, in the Axial RECON Ultra 4 G6!

Axial RECON Ultra 4 G6 Classes:
Ultra 1.9 - Fast, Furious, and not for the weak knee'd G6'er. This class is similiar to Ultra 4 racing.

Ultra 2.2 - The same as the Ultra 1.9 class, except scale training wheels or 2.2 scale tires are used by Drivers on their Wraith or G-Ride/scaler.

Adventurist - This class is the premiere class of the RECON G6. Drivers walk at their pace and participate in stage challenges, stage adventures, and solving stage mysteries. This is the class for all ages and skill levels of drivers. This class is similiar to the EMC Stock Class.

Adventurist 2.2 - The same as the Adventurist Class, except drivers use 2.2 scale tires on their Wraith or G-Ride/scaler. This Class is similiar to the EMC Modified Class.

RECON G6 Teams - This class is for friends or families to share the RECON G6 experience together by sharing a truck. The team splits up the driving duties as they see fit. For example, a driver may drive half of the stage and then switch driving duties for the rest of the stage. Or, teams may decide that driving duties can be switched at certain obstacles. However a Team splits driving duties is up to them, but they must use only one truck.

I am amped for my first ever KOH. This is going to be like a live Warren Miller Movie!!!"thumbsup"

Man, I gotta make this one!!! I never been to a KOH event though, so I have a ton of questions...... I there a event fee for KOH itself? I'm looking at an 8 hour drive myself, so It would make sense if I came out on friday. Are there camping fee's ?

No event fee's but ask for donation, as far as camping it is out in the desert, so pick a bush and camp. Just make sure you are not on trail!
and yes go down on weds. and check out the cars, utv's and rigs. It is always a good time

$20 buck donation gets you access to Hammertown. They are tightening up access to the town and pits more this year to try and increase security and bring a bit of order to the chaos...
