Cant help with the toyota body but i can tell you that you can certainly go from 2.2 down to 1.9 on the scorpion.

I still have my scorpion and i love it!

i have to admit with the pictures i saw of yours the trucks look more realistic with the 1.9s. so i need advice as to where is the best and least expensive place to buy the wheels and tires. thanks again. i noticed in one of your pics that you had 1.9s on 2.2 rims can i do that?

I get my tires from RPP Hobbies or RC4WD. They have great prices.

As far as mounting the 1.9 tires on 2.2 rims, i wouldn't recommend it. The rim is wider than the tire & the tires tend to shift. They never stay centered. The reason you see them was my mistake. I purchased the wrong sized rims. I noticed after i mounted them and took photos. The rest of my time after the photos was spent unscrewing each of the beadlock screws. OH JOY!

BTW i think the 1.9 size is more realistic but you cant beat the 2.2 traction or extra ground clearance. That's why i often swap both.
