I just got a new axial scx10 ii jeep crc and I wana change the esc to a hobby wing 1080 but is there a way to keep the lights on the body ? Because the lights plug right into the esc ?

Those plugs on the ESC put out 6V, you can change the plugs or make an adapter and plug them into a spare port on the receiver (assuming you keep the 1080 BEC set at 6V).

I thought about changing the plug but the ones that plug into the esc are 3 wired and the lights are 2 wires sorry if I sound stupid haha I’m still new to the whole crawler world

The servo plug's 3 wires are -, +, and signal.

To hook up lights, only the - and + (usually black and red) wires would be used and the 3rd slot on the plug would be left empty. Use the receiver plug on the ESC as a reference to make sure you install the - on the correct side.
