Hi,

Just wondering what size (mah) batteries do you use with your SCX10?
and do you have the battery placed in the front or the back?

Thank you.

Newbie Question.

i run a 4s 1850mah lipo, turned side ways just behind the front shock towers, 18.5t ballistic crawler motor and get around 45 min run time, but i hammer down 80% of the time

I use zippy flightmax packs from my mini revo up front. I either use a 2s 2200, a 1600 3s, or the 2 2200s together for 4s with an lrp 21.5 on a mamba max pro.

I run a 2s 5000mAh 35c up front. Motor is a Trinity 27t, Novak Rooster Crawler esc, with stock gearing. Great runtimes and very good wheelspeed...

I run 3s 5000mah Blue Lipo behind the front shock towers, Tekin FXR, Axial 27t with stock gearing. I haven't checked run times, but it's a looong time, and I hammer on it."thumbsup"

I guess Honcho has to put it's battery up front with stock body.

I just wanted to know what other drivers did because with front mount battery I thought I was putting too much weight on front.

I guess my 2S 5000mah (batt from Slash) is too heavy for front as it tips over to side easier compare to rear mount.

7.2v 4x2 pack on a special carbon fiber plate mounted on front upper control arm links low and Velcro d for quick change fast charge"thumbsup"

might try lipo but ill probably just try that on new rig

i am running a 3s 2200mah hyperion next to my frame mounted servo up front. i have really good run times and a 45t motor. it lasts a day of comping that includes 4 corses and an hour trail run and still have enuff to bash.

I normally run a 3s 2200mah batt up up front but have also ran a 2s 5000mah out front with pretty much the same performance. But the fact that I run 3oz weight in each front tire probavly makes a difference.

I use a 12000mah max amps 2s with a velenion brushless and 24t pinion and i can run for hours with this thing and it gives me the added traction i need for sled pulling and keeps the ass down while im in the mud not to mention crazy wheels speed

I run 2200 mah 2s lipo long run times, i do however run a separate 450 mah 2s lipo for my winch though."thumbsup"

i have just bought turnigy 2s 1800mah 30c and 2s 3000mah 30c for my new honcho , i also have 2 2s 5200mah 30c hard case for the sct. using the accucell 6 charger .
