İh guys new here to the forum.

İ have a acx10 UMG 6x6 and as owners of them the rear axil pops the slider inside the 2 halfs. Whats the fix for this problem besides having a bunch of extra inner shafts with you. All help greatly appreciated in advance.

Casey,

The problem in the case of the UMG 6x6 is basically stupid design. Thankfully it's fixable.

The rear-most drive shaft at a certain point of the suspension travel is 100% completely compressed with no give between the 2 ends and the sliding center. When the rear-most axle is fully compressed and the first-rear isn't.... the small center piece can drop out.

There's a few ways to take care of it.

1. get 2-piece driveshafts
2. extend the wheelbase enough so that you can use a longer center shaft and maybe one of the ends without having it bind-up during the part of the travel where the driveshaft is most compressed.
