axle C brackets?

I've seen the aluminum C brackets which end up replacing the ends of the axle housing where the knuckles are.
But I have also seen another type which is all black, has alot of bolts
going through it and looks like it just reinforces the ends of the housing
without replacing part of it.
Does anybody know what kind these are? Where do you get them?
And are they better or worse than the other kind?
Thanks

one thing is an axle c and another is a axle lock out

what are you tryiing to do ? ?

reenforce your axles or lock out your rear end ? ? ?

axle c's reenforce your tabs that hold your knuckles

lock outs just keep everything in a straight line like real 1:1 rear end

click my sig for my build there you will see the axle c's i installed and also another way to rear lock out with stock tlt parts

get the fat rock ones. they replase the axle c's. the prp ones just give the plastic ones support. the fat rock ones are awesome!
