Brand new and learning as I go. Spent the last few hours just reading and searching. I recently purchased my first Axial. Got it used off craigslist. however I am not 100% what I got :lmao:.

I think its on the dingo chassis as my wheelbase is 11.4ish. It has a 27T HPI racing motor (Stock?), Traxxs 2075 steering servo, A rooster crawler, but from what I can tell the scx-10's came with coilover style susp., mine has airshocks which give it more ground clearance.

The susp. is to stiff, doesn't flex well at all.

I have been searching bronco body's most the day. Why bronco, well because I have one. I want to build my RC to resemble my real life trail rig. Bought the RC to play with when were done on the trail and are back at camp relaxing and drinking etc..

Looks like my choices are a
Tamiya
Proline
HPI
Dynamics

I choosen which one yet. Still deciding, and wheelbase plays a factor.

Here is what I got....

Any suggestions on shocks to soften the susp. I stopped at a RC place locally and the counter guy suggested taking the shocks apart and removing the springs altogether. But that'll drop it down pretty much making no up travel and all down travel.

Also considering going to 2.2's.

Put weight in your wheels. I haven't seen one stock scale chassis truck flex amazing without some weight in the wheels. My ax10 does good with not wheights but the setup is way different. Id just find softer springs for it AFTER you try adding wheel weights. Id got 2.2's too cause you have a lot of clearance but its a nice rig "thumbsup"

Proline has that same bronco body and they even make it without a top and roll caged "thumbsup". Hpi has a bronco body too

Sucks, can't view the calssifieds. Not a member long enough, don't have enough posts, and I am not ready to be a supporting member as I am new and not ready to spend the money yet. Guess I'll order a new body from proline. Looking at ordering some 1.9 tires as well.
