baby Virginia fight with cancer
im kinda choked up about this right now so i will add some more when i can. here is the low down...
my good friend Dan was discharged from the Navy about 6 years ago after being diagnosed with crohn's disease. he had a 1 year old baby and a baby on the way. after a few operations to help correct his problem he is slowly getting better...
after him military career, he decided to get into photography. he worked with me at a local online action sports retailer as their photographer and then decided to get back into school as the economy was slowly going down hill.
the second child was just having her 2nd bday when his wife found out she was prego again. at about 6 months into her pregnancy and after weeks of being "sick" she decided to go and get her self looked at to make sure her baby would be ok. she then found out that she had MS.
the baby was born a month premature but healthy. after 4 month mom and dad noticed a growth on the side of her head behind her ear... she was taken to children's hospital in Seattle and was later diagnosed with cancer.
i spoke with dan a few weeks ago while i was in Washington and he had informed me that his baby had a bout a 20% chance to make it though her illness. after Virginia was diagnosed the family last their house.
this was an email that i received from a close friend and i just want to pass it along.

and dad) have been selected by a Charitable Event Planning Organization,
and we need to gather up as many contacts as we can. This year we will
be establishing a Foundation for Virginia, and we are going to host
fundraiser......s to fund her medical expenses and hopefully
allow for us to branch out to other children with cancer in the future.
