yeah im not too sure how long it has been for bob since his last freshen up
im not even sure how long he has been built but i know i have seen him for sale a few times an i always seemed to miss out on him til now.
he may end up with 1.55's yet thou.

Well i got woken up by the postie dropping bob at my front door at 6.30am
this morning lol. i just want to say top job to MDCRAWLER72 he has yet again come thruogh with the goods. thanks mate.
so BOB is now here an it's time to give him a new bunch of electric's an a freshen up after a couple of drive's so i best get off here an go get sum done on him here's a few pic's of him an the box he showed up in but with big thanks to MD an his excellent packaging BOB was fine..........."thumbsup""thumbsup"

Ok so i got to finish work early today so i went straight to my lhs an bought BOB some prezzie's here's the list

nip novak 2s brushless kit 18.5 motor mmm nice
3 racing winch
a set of trail doc's will see how they look they may get swapped out for tsl swamper's.
a new DX3E radio an rec.
an some black paint for bob's bar work an a can of primer an a tube of putty.

oh here's a pic of the lads bob will be hangin out with lol.....

Well i got all the gear in this arvo an even made 2 new skid plates as i need 1 for my other build. i have to say the novak 2s goat with 18.5 donk is awesome maybe a little too much wheel speed with a 19t pinion but is still lots of fun an very driveable.

personally i think it'd be cool to have a threads dedicated to the life of some of these rigs and the adventures and the journies taken. i bet there's quite a few stories out there too. "thumbsup"

Hey Jon Boy i couldnt agree more there should be threads dedicated to certin builds maybe this could be a first of mnay too come....."thumbsup"

Thanks for that bud i just read the thread an was good to see how bob started out an he has held up very well . i ahve just put white yota wheels back on him an love the look an now the tyres tuck under the guards :ror:.

Hi all, i purchased Bob off jetdog racing a while ago.

he hasnt changed much except for some bar work thats all bolt on. He is also now running a bruiser body. I do still have the OG bob body but i dont use him as he has a crack down a pillar. will repair him when i get the spare time. also the rear links were replaced with alloy ones from the old turn knuckle style ones, and he has had a coat of black paint on the chassis

his specs to this day:
novak 45 rooster combo
645 MG servo
2s lipo

1.55 classis beadlocks with 1.9 reduced tsl's to 1.55

i actually took bob out for a wheel today here are a few pics.

Thanks mate. I don't think I'll be parting with bob for a while enjoy wheeling him too much. The only thing he needs now is some better steering.

He crawls really well and I'm still amazed at how he performs!!! I'll try to get some pics of his original body up aswell.

Just so you know I have the orig cab still never sold it with the truck:ror:, I only sold the bed with it because of the bob job on it to match the frame that I cut.
