Well my traxxas tq3 has been worked to death, it glitches way to bad now. I'm looking for a good radio system. I will NOT be needing anything extra, no winch, rear steer, dig, nothing. Just to run in my scale crawler, front steering only. Going to be running with a super rooster. What do yall suggest is the best bang for the buck. I know that everything now and than has glitches, but would really like to make this my final radio.

thx

I picked up the Airtronics MX-A. Am version of the MX-3 for $55. Outstanding value and all digital infinite adjustments. I am a huge Futaba fan but this one is nice.

I have the MX-3 myself. Probably one of my favorite radios. I've always liked Airtronics, but really, any of the major manufacturers (Futaba, JR, etc.) makes a good entry level radio. If it were me, I'd go FM at least. I noticed a big difference implovement in glitches between my TQ3 and my MX-3.

The spektrum DX2 would be a good choice. Since the DX2.0 came out, the DX2 can be found for pretty cheap. I have the 2.0 because it has more adjustment but it's not necessary. And like was already said, you never have to worry about channel problems when going to a comp. or gettogether.
