Batt charger question....

HEY!!! i got a free BOX of RC stuff, and an RC 10... ill practice with that but!! i got a Battery and a battery charger and ive never seen one of these things b4 in my life.

My question is, how much volts does it take to let the charger CHARGE... its wierd, the charger has a battery slit and 2 clips(+ and -).... HOW DO I USE IT?!?! does it connect to a car battery?? or is it 120v???

Can i charge an RC Battery at 6 or 12 volts?? or should i use the RC charger??

we esp,tell us what you have.haveing a charger can be 1 of dozons of different chargers on the market and they all are not the same.give us info(name) or even a pic would help.

I burnt up the resistor ne way... It was a 12v and it put out 9 volts, now it puts out 12... so i just bought a new charger, on the way
