Beadlock Wheels?

Whats the idea behind beadlock wheels? what advantages to they give over a normal set of rims?
 
That is probably the biggest advantage you will notice with RC beadlocks - no more glueing tires. You can swap out tires, try different foams, all without having to buy new wheels and tires for every different setup.

In full-scale vehicles, beadlocks also let you run very low tire pressure without having the tire slip off the bead of the rim.
 
i've seen beadlock sets going for over $100, thats a hell of alot of money to for that in my opininon, but thanks for the info!
