Just got my bearing kit from RC4wd for my TXT. Web page for the part lists in big bold letters "Blue Rubber Sealed..." but they sent Metal Shielded. I looked back at the web site and the fine print on the same item says metal shielded. I was under the impression I was ping for and getting rubber sealed as they are supposed to be better for high dirt/dust use and less maintenance. Is this true, should I get the rubber sealed units or will the metal ones suffice?

IMO, I don't think its going to matter much on a TXT or any other crawler (unless its Badgers rock racer ). I have never had any problems with bearings on my crawlers no matter if they were metal shield or rubber sealed. Now when I use to race 1/8 scale buggies......that's a different story.

I would say send 'em back and get the rubbers you thought you ordered, if they don't take them back, you will at least have spares.
