Dogfish Burton Baton...Imperial IPA Aged in Oak Barrels.

This is one of my new favorites. It's pretty hard to come by, but when you see it, grab some. You wont regret it!

I've had my eyes peeled looking for that dogfish head, can't find it.

Mickey's was my go to in college for a while, be it in 40 oz or 12 oz, big mouths. Hah.

at 25 bucks for 12. its the best cost/quality compromise i can find up here.

That doesn't seem cheap. I'm paying 52 cents (USD) per 12 ounce can for Natty Ice.

Great stuff!

My LBS has a great selection of DFH brews.

Just hit two stops looking for that Baton. Nope. But I did get a favorite, White Rajah IPA from Brew Kettle.

Ran over to get a 12 pack of Dale's and spotted this. Not usually a big fan of New Belgium, but I liked the name. Not too bad either.

One Of my local BBQ joints had this on tap a couple months ago. Great beer, gotta love dog fish head. Beers like these make me want to start drinking again:mrgreen:

Later,

Found it! Kick ass. Bought four of them at $2.99 a piece, they're a click over a pint in amount. I had a preconceived idea of what to expect and I was pretty close. More of a bubble gum than a cotton candy I was thinking I would taste. Good carbonation, as can been seen... and a good feel in the mouth.

An alternative to this I can instantly think of is the Lagunitas Doppel Weizen, though I haven't had one in a while, but I remember the banana clove gum mix in that one as well. And I think La Fin Du Monde is that way also.

I wouldn't want to disrupt the wheat bits and ruin it for ya, so I won't.

Grrrrrrrr at you:flipoff:.

There is not really a good import or specialty beer/liquor dealer here. Can catch some of the Sam Adams stuff occasionally is about it. In redneck country bud, miller and Milwaulkee beast reign supreme

mhmm mickeys fine malt liquor.

I had some belgian apricot ale once, it was most excellent, but couldnt find it anywhere other than this one restaurant.
tried other apricot ales/not impressed.
