Billet Works' 2.2 Mod-Locks...finally

Thanks, most of it helps.

4. Hubs ... longer screws may be required than the standard VP screws.
Screws do not come with the wheels.
What screw dimension (length and thread) is to be used? (I hope some metric thread will do...)

The hub offset varies depending on what hub you use from VP.
I meant offset to the surface where the hub is mated to the wheel. From there it's easy to calculate the resulting offset depending on the chosen hub.

Depending on what size hub will dictate what knuckle weights you can use.
I know that.
My question is more to the effect: "Can I use .800" of added weights with a .850 hub, or will only less fit?"

Checking closer on VP's site it seems the standard hub screws are UNC 4-40 x 1/4", with threaded holes in the hubs.
I suppose I can re-thread the holes to M3, should I buy these...

You are correct on the screw size. As for if you should get I can't say yes or no. I'am using mine on my Sportsman and Pro, but in saying that I do have a few sets of tyres and rims that I use at different times depending on my state of tune.

Okay, I received my wheels. Sweet. How are you guys running your foam set-up? I have the 1 " width wheels and am going to use white dot rovers. Pics would be helpful. "thumbsup"

IM at work, but ill update in the next day or so what I did. What type of foams? If CI foams, old style it new?

I havn't picked up any foams yet. I'm unsure as to what type or how to set them up beacuse of the inner oversized ring. Thanks.

I haven't tried the new closed cell Novas on these. I used the older style CI foams as they what I had at the time.
For my Boss Claws I used 5.25" duel stage foams, formyl Sedona's I used 5.5" duel stage foams. The Sedona and rovers are similar in size so I would use the 5.5". Eddie at CI may be able to advise on the new style foams for rovers though.
To mount I carefully pried the inner foam over the wheel working my way round gradually. For the outer I inserted it into the tyre. I then with the outer foam n the tyre stretched the tyre over the inner foam on the wheel again working my way around the wheel gradually. When I had the tyre over I just shifted it around massaging the tyre to get the foams adjusted to where I wanted. Job done.

If using a single stage foam it may be a little less fiddly but as I haven't used I can't say that it is or isn't either way.

As seen in my LCC thread and on the BW Facebook page Billet Works Designs | Facebook

These have been on the books since the inception of my U-Locks a few years ago. Finally I'm moving forward on them.

Oversized OD 2 piece delrin wheels
Adjustable width (comes in 4 different width options, width is adjusted by use of spacers between the wheel halves and screw lengths to match, bolts connecting wheel halves thread directly into the back wheel half, 5 stainless bolts hold each 2 piece wheel together)
Adjustable offset (wheel faces can be mounted in or out and uses VP hubs)
OD Ring is slotted for the addition of lead weights as needed.
One design currently available, more coming
Very beefy but still only 3 ounces complete with rings and hardware
Extremely easy to mount
Typical extreme bead holding power

Several designs and types will be trickling out.

OD ring design can be seen on the split 6 spoke design pictured below.

This design is currently available in my store at www.billet-works-store.com

Anyway, on to the pics

Very nice design and they looks strong and light weight! Would be nice to have same wheels but without the raised center rib.
