HELL.....
well i had previously flown a cx, and i ended up selling it because it didnt seem to act right. i liked the challenge of flying it, tho i was never all that good at it.
i find myself wanting another. i was looking today at helis and was deciding between the cp+ and the cx2. i know the cx is the easier of the 2 to fly, but wat exactly does that mean? both are about the same price.

Want to fly? Get the CX2.

You'll spend more time repairing the CP than you'll spend flying it...especially if you're learning.

Bad thing is that once you've mastered the CX2 and decide to move up to a normal heli you'll find that they fly nothing like the CX.

Much more sensitive to input and not anywhere near as stable as the CX...you'll fly a CP all the time.

The CX will hover with very little effort.

If you already flew the CX and didn't like it....the CX2 is nearly identical but with a better TX made by Spektrum. I happen to like my CX2 very much, although it dosen't fly outdoors very well. What JIA said about it being totally different from other helis you may move up to is very true. A bigger heli, like a Trex 450 of a Mini Titan react very different from the CX2. However there are ways of taming down 3D helis with adjustments to your TX. EVERYTHING I've ever heard about the Blade CP has been bad. The owner of a local LHS even talked me out of buying one from them. Hope this helps............

i liked my CX2 as well, but i broke lots of parts on it. you will be replacing lower blades all the time. it was discouraging after a while. if i had a windows based pc, i would just buy a r/c heli simulator.

lol...i just bought the cx2 last week and have went thru 2 lower blades and 1 upper blade already(trying to learn this in a small living room with lots of stuff to hit, isn't helping any ..lol).....i'm almost gettin it to hover ...all i have to say is if this is a beginner heli...i would hate to see how hard it is to fly an advanced heli ....but i'm having a blast with the cx2

I've flown both, the CX2 is much easier to for the beginner, Make sure you let the RX arm fully before you try to fly it though, I don't know how many people would bring them trying return them because they wouldn't fly right, just for me to show them the proper way to arm and set it up for them. and it works fine"thumbsup"

i have a blade CP and i have spent more time repairing it than actually "flying" it. the controls are so touchy and you end up over compensating for all the movements.

here are all the parts that i have replaced:

as a beginner, the BCP probably wasnt the best choice to start with, but seeing as you are good at the BCX2, you may do ok.

Honeybee FP. Controlls like a normal heli, but has no collective controll. Lift is dependant on blade speed. I blow at flying and the only thing i broke was a blade after the heli had an encounter with a pole and the landing gear.
