Blue Bird HV servo

I havent used that one but have used a BLS-26A and a BLS-2112 in two different scale rigs that have less power than what the one you linked has and they work great. Great value for money and are the same as a Futaba spline horn.

I use a Blue Bird BMS-21HV High Voltage Micro Servo for my AX2 transmission and haven't had any issues. It was the only reasonably priced high voltage micro servo I was able to find.

Ive had quite a few 35 and 28 versions with good results. Had a 35 that you would turn and the car would jitter back and forth but hobbyking gave me store credit and then sent a replacement :lmao:. I want to grab one just to test it, impressive numbers there.

Blue bird is a good servo. One thing to point out is the output shaft is not titanium, it is titanium coated alloy. If they are going to give you trouble, they won't strip, they will break

That's good to know!
I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone here on RCC with one yet...

How are these 800 oz blue bird servos holding up???

I haven't ran mine yet. But a local guy has one in his Pro and one in the rear of his super and they've held up great at the comp and don't get that hot.

He's running them on 9v as well.

I don't know, call me cynical, but I have tried a few off brand servos with impressive specs and been disappointed nearly every time. The latest was a radiopost signature series that is supposed to have 459oz @ 7.4v. I'm running it on 8.4v and it will stall on carpet, it also is pretty weak to return to center.
