Hey, new to crawling and plan on picking up a TLT. Im looking for brands of bodies. I play with 1/10 scale rc cars but not to sure about 1/18 size. I like anything made from Toyota like FJ's to Hilux's. Ive seen a few on the forum but who makes these?

not sure where to get Toy bodies, but most ppl build their tlts to fit 1/10 scale bodies not the original 1/18th scale size.

If you plan on crawling it then you are going to stretch it. Then it will be a 1/10 size anyways. I think they find the FJ bodies on Toy's R US RC cars. I am not sure though. Search through the scale section of this site for info.

i have a bronco body with a 6" wb i painted yesterday that looks pretty good on tlt axles and tires

yea, you'll want to stretch it anyway, to make it somewhat of a crawler...and when you do that a 1/10 body will fit perfectly

proline makes a fj body ,its a cut to fit... its called a bushwacker. if your looking for the little toyota truck bodies... they are like gold... they are tamiya and they are called "bruiser" or "mountainer" they are rare and worth lots of money... id look on proline tho for the fj style"thumbsup"
