You guys are unbelievable...... No TXT or Clod can perform like the Rockbull 2 Advanced Rock Crawler without spending the same Money in parts for your plastic Toys' R US trucks..... I have the Rockbull 2 Advanced and I can tell you this ... your trucks were designed for kids to run in the dens of their parents home and in their parents backyards...you guys just decided to BUY Hop ups for it so it can perform LIKE a rock crawler.....Your forgetting 1 thing.....!!!!!! The Rockbull 2 Advanced truck kit IS DESIGNED TO BE A ROCK CRAWLER Made from Real rock crawlers in California !!!!! Not a kids toy that guys put parts on to get it to perform.....There is only 2 plastic parts on the Rockbull.....The Tranny cases.....Everything else is METAL !!!!!!!! Stop knocking peoples Rigs...... Great choice .... The Rockbull........

First of all Lets Stop the name calling...... That is uncalled for and childish !!!!! Alls I was saying was in response to the first few posts in this thread where there were a few guys DISSING the guy who bought the Rockbull.....What the thread actually said if you read it correctly was The $ 900 to $ 1500 Rockbull probably costs as much as your trucks that you spent money on to hop up..... This is just all of those hop ups in a RTR package... Probably costing the same as your truck after you make all your modifications..... So nobody is an Idiot...Except for the person who posted the word....And I only say that because you wrote it in the first place....Can't we all just get along ????????????????????????????????? LOL Its personal preference and If you got the money to spend on it.... Then God Bless !!!!

who the hell here is hopping up anything, everythings pretty much custom, and building your own gives you a huge advantage, just like a 1:1, and about being childish i thik you are the worse about it.

i never intended this thread to be so worthless, otherwise never started it myself would i have....
this thread has become pointless. looked around the tools for 'close thread' --- can't find anything.
listen--- to each his own. i'm in the middle of stretching PTI MMT into a 1/10scale crawler, brushless outrunner with Kontronik JAZZ esc (best ESC money can BUY
), and geared VERY low for NO motor stalls (the brushless outrunner has AWESOME torque and ZERO stall)... anyways-- all i'm saying is that you can build them, and today, as well you can buy one too. i'm doing both, because i can, and i felt like it.
in the end i'll tell ya which one i like best, and which one crawls best (but that may be a more difficult comparison as the PTI is a 2.2 and the RockBull is 1/8th scale). both will have independent proportional front/rear steering and i suspect the Rockbull won't be sitting on Lathes for too long. (did i mention a JAZZ esc can drive 2 brushless outrunners at once as well :shock: :mrgreen: :shock: )
both with moabs of course :mrgreen:
anyways-- i don't do fab work or any machining... so modding a stock PTI is the closest i'll come to custom. its good enough for me.
now if a moderator would close this thread, i perosonally think IT has overstayed its welcome.

heck at 11yrs old i was still playing with those little rc cars that took 8 'AA' energizer batteries. ('junk' is what i'm saying).
