On Sunday, July 26th Boston Crawlers will be hosting their 6th event in their outdoor series in partnership with CT Off Camber Crawlers. This will be a joint event for both clubs and should be a great one. Hopefully two clubs = twice the fun and more courses.

We will have a 2.2 Pro class, a 2.2 Shafty Class, and a "Run What You Brung" class. If we can get 3 or 4 Supers to show up I would love to do one super course just to show them to people who have never seen one run. As always there is no entry fee required for these events. We still have some goodies leftover from our Great Sponsors, Castle Creations, CowRC, and Purpmart, PLus Krazed Builds is stepping up for this one and donating some sweet Carbon Fiber Goodness. Prizes will be given out to the top place finishers in each class, and maybe some others depending on what we got.

UPDATE: Our Pro Winner and Shafty winner for the day have a set of these to look forward to thanks to Krazed Builds

Registration will start at 10:00 with course 1 starting soon after. See the map below for details on where to go from the parking lot. Use your GPS to go to 3 Fort Wetherill Rd. Jamestown, RI. See the map for details.

All are welcome.

If you have a PopUp tent you can bring we can setup some shade since there is not a ton to be had here.

Would love to make it and try out the updates to my rigs but having coming into town that weekend.

Definitely in for this one!!! I do have a couple ez up tents I can bring. Don't feel bad robbob, my rig is in pieces at the moment also!!

Sick! World class location, two clubs, awesome prizes, rc-crawling...how could you miss this?!? So down, gonna be a really good event!

I'll be in the Boston area visiting that weekend. I may stop by and see how you run in the north east.

I only have 1.9 based rigs. Is that what usually is in the "run what ya bring" class?
I'll pack mine if there's a fair fight. ;-)
Weather has got to be better there than here in Oklahoma.

Sunday is looking to be 76 with an ocean breeze. I am sure that even coming to This location (without crawlers) would be a cool sight for you. The run what you brung is exactly that, whatever people want to show up with. It is less comp format then it is a fun course or two to give people a chance to put their rig through some challenging gates.

If you ask nice there is usually someone willing to let you dual driver one of their shafty rigs which is a ton of fun. If you are sure you are going to come and want to take a stab a running a shafty course drop me a line and I will see if I can get a second rig up and running for you.

Thanks for the offer. I probably won't know for sure until last minute. If I can get my scx10 past TSA without a strip search, I'll be surprised. TSA chicks dig Rc cars. :-)

I have taken my pro rig on the plane lots and it doesn't look anything like a truck :p you should be Ok.

And the loading begins..... Will have the family in tow and we are crashing in RI for the night after the comp"thumbsup"

I think the best starting lineup for this event would be say bc then ock then bc then ock and to determine who starts first would be a coin toss example.

Flip a coin for run order say ock first then bc ock 2nd then bc secound ock third and bc third based not our last comp. Just for round one and then the dust will fall and it will be a normal comp .

By the way CT rules :flipoff:

I have no idea what you just said, but that's not surprising. I'm just a dumb Okie.

Someone just point at me and say: hey you! Dumb redneck, your turn.

Can't wait for tomorrow, maybe some sprinkles tomorrow but we will have some pop ups and the rock is awesome even if it's wet.

See you all soon.
