Hey guys... New to castle link and palying around with the settings on my new Holmes BLE for a sensored Holmes puller motor.

What is the difference between "Brake" and "Drag Brake" settings? Couldn't find an explanation after quite a bit of searching.

Thanks, Lance

Found plenty of posts on here and other sites via Google. How does Drag Brake work? What's the principle? - RCCrawler

Thanks, I read that post and many others before I made my post. I asked for the difference between "Brake" and "Drag Brake" settings.... In the castle link, there are adjustments for these separately. I understand what drag brake does. I don't understand what the "Brake" setting does and have not found a comparison between the two. Should the Brake setting be disabled and only the drag brake be used?

Thanks, Lance

(layman's terms) Drag brake is resistance applied automatically when the throttle trigger is at neutral. IE rolling resistance.

Brake is the amount of force applied during actual braking.

The Castle Link allows them to be adjusted independently as they are 2 different settings.
