I have seen many pictures of plastic parts with brass inserts for 3mm screws, can someone point me to a supplier, I believe there was someone here selling them at one point but I can find it.

Do, they make a heli-coil that small?
I'd like to see this 3mm heli-coil and 3.1mm threader. Or does it thread it self into the plastic? Have a link?

WOW, it's for real. Very cool. Expensive, but cool. It would work with some applications as long as the tap does not bottom out before it threads. I guess you could Dremel off some of the tip on the tap.
