Ok let's get back to working or really posting, I find the older I get the harder it is to find time for the internet or should I say the older my kids get.

The track is a mess after the hurricane and ton more rain the logs decomposed at a hyper rate. The best I can figure is the standing water got under the concrete and got trapped causing the logs to rot faster than I expected. But the yard drains worked and we did not get water in the house and barely any in the garage, so no big deal having to rebuild the track.

Truthfully I wasn't happy with the final outcome, it was to smooth I wanted a rougher more mountain looking terrain. So with some trial and error I got a look I like and can not wait to paint it.

I still have a long ways to go and I want to add tons of details and plants, think garden railroad style.

Since the whole track has to be rebuilt and changed I decided to follow in Hollywood's footsteps and reboot this project.

The Flying Mustang Ranch is dead, Long Live Broken Dog off road Park

Here's a short video showing the current progress and the back wooded area, I also discuss my future plans.

1. It's great to see you still posting on RCC"thumbsup".

2. When's the get together?!?! That is a great playground you built:mrgreen:.

It's nice to be back, you know life and kids can get in the way of hobbies.

The hope to have a gtg as soon as the first stage of the track is complete. Maybe a few people mid summer.

Here's a quick video just playing around my son is trying to learn how to work the camera, it's not as easy as I would have thought, he tends to forget the camera and just watch the truck.

Once again Sorry for the Delay, been busy, it's been raining a lot and I had some family medical issues come up.

Anyways I've been working on it when I can and it's not raining.

Here's a quick video testing out the new small rocks and the new paint.

I've been working on the paint and adding some smaller rocks in the valleys along with adding plants. Buildings, structures and signage should be next.

On to the pics.

These rocks only have the first coat of paint, I add contrasts first than a wash of color later.

My very first land bridge, still needs to work but it's looking good.
