Personally I like the Trinity SpeedGems brushed motors, they are pretty inexpensive and perform well. SpeedGems Brushed Motors

SpeedGems Brushed Motors is 540 or 550.

They are 540 motors, they work fine in clods, I use the SpeedGems 35t cralwer motors in mine and my wife's SCX10's as well. AMain Hobbies stocks them.
