I'v got a question for some one that is smarter than me!:)
my qt. is that if this motor will be strong enough to run in a crawler

specs.included
will be running a sidewinder, if not then mamba max 3cell lipo 20c burst at least the smallest batt that I want to run

will be running axial axles with summit two speed stock gearing pic's included to have a better idea of what I'm going to run it in.

the price is right for the motor but I don't want to throw my money away,
so comments are welcome, fedback a plus. thanks to all that reply

That motor should work. 1050kv will not be super fast though, unless you bump up to a 4S lipo.

It should crawl ok, depending on low end cogging issues, esp if it is non sensored.

you trying to crawl or crawl/bash?

ya I don't like that, you think that running the summit trans I can gear down to be able to crawl, and shift in the taller gear to have top end wheel speed. And run the mamba max on 4cell. If not then I'll get the other. "thumbsup"

i run a 1050kv outrunner in my creeper with a quark pro-car 33 speed control and it works well other than could use a little more wheel speed , oh guess i should also say that i run a 3s lipo , it has plenty of torque , may try changing to a higher kv rating

That is a BIG outrunner....and a 5mm shaft may make finding pinions a little challenging.

I run this motor in my 2.2 Scaler....relatively lightweight truck.

FSD Brushless Outrunner 2835-8 1038KV ( http://www.milehighrc.com/brushless2835-8.html )

I had to grind down the shaft a little to make the standard pinions fit, but it works GREAT (on an axial trans). I am actually running it off of a Mamba-25 with a BEC, and with an 18T pinion and 3 cells, it just starts to get warm, and is plenty quick....along with having a very strong drag brake and no noticable cogging (Saw cogging with the 12T pinion) My goal was a very light 2.2 and this motor/esc combo definitely helped a lot (IT replaced a Novak Goat 2s system on a RC4wd R2d Trans). It is also pretty quick and has tons of torque.

thanks Xirtic that's what I was thinking. that motor is half the price of a out runner HH motor. But I couldn't find any feed back on them. the one I want to use. Spur gears I have alot of with 5mm, ran brushless in my ofna.

THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR HELP"thumbsup"
