Building a little course for 1/18 and 1/6's

There's a little cul-de-sak that is at the end of an empty street. In the center is a circle of dirt roughly 30 ft in diameter. I thought it'd be cool to dig some holes and pile up some hills and then bring in some rocks and turn it into a little RC crawler course suitable for both large and small crawlers.

I've used the search feature and looked at other peoples courses, but most of them are dead links or pictures that aren't available.

I need inspiration so reply with working links and any pics you might have of backyard courses you've built.

Mine's nothing extreme ... big rocks are pretty expensive in Nebraska ... but here are a few pics:

It's not terribly challenging for the 1/6 scale rigs but it gives the 1/18's a workout. Most importantly, it's right outside my front door and it's fun to play around on.

The best way to go...

 if you have $5 and a wheel barow, you can mix a bag of concrete and just pour a big mound or 2. also you can shape it to make ledges, pinches, etc...

Below are some pictures of places I go wheeling with mine that may give you an idea on a course. I take mine anywhere I go outside such as the Mississippi River and Camping.

im a manager of a landscaping material yard and have two 1:6 scorps one soon to be stick the other stock. i have expearamented (sp?) with several differnent rocks and composition of rocks and found that a sandstone or granite is the best the tires grip awesome and on some rocks seems like the tires are stuck on.
the best thing to do would be to go to your local landscaping material supplier and just look around if its a decent place they should have any type of composition..ie granite, sandstone, dolomite's, and sedimentary rock, also alot of places carry lava rock wich is insane to wheel on cause they always move around no matter how big the rock is.
i guarentee when your there looking around you will be in heaven and wont know which rock to go with but hopefully the guys workin there are smart enough and nice enough to tell you whats what.
unfortunatly (man i suck at spelling) i dont have a big yard or even an area i can wheel unless i drive there so lately ive been taking a select few rocks and been climbing up my back stairs about 7 stairs and been putting rocks all over to make it more challenging next time i set it up ill take some pics... i hope i helped a little ... see ya around

i have barely any rocks here, so i just threw about 30 logs in a random pile and crawl it. It's about 10ftx10ft and is easy to change around whenever i want. only problem is termites getting into it and the logs rotting.

making a course? That sounds like a good idea. I have a huge mountain in my backyard that I love to crawl my RC's up, down, and around.
